Under a partnership with the University of Richmond and Boston University, we provide practical computer literacy to all of our students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. These skills are then incorporated into their other classes.
- Students as young as kindergarten age attend weekly classes to learn how to use Microsoft Office products.
- Elementary, middle and high schooler students are instructed in the areas of word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, multimedia, and databases.
- Through the use of virtual libraries, students are instructed with the latest on-line research techniques.
- Technology electives at the high school level include the following: publications, web design, computer programming, and AP computer programming.
- Grace is committed to teaching Internet safety to protect students on-line.
- The school’s network is protected by a state of the art content filtering system, and all students are under supervision whenever they use a computer.
