Smart Tuition statements are mailed to each family mid-month for the following month (if the parents have not chosen to have their tuition debited from their bank account). Tuition and fees are due by the 1st of each month. A late fee in the amount of $40 will be applied if payment is not received by the 10th. It is important for school families to pay their accounts in a timely manner in order for the school to maintain its financial obligations to staff and other vendors.
It has always been the policy of the school to work with families in making special payment arrangements when they have extenuating financial circumstances. In such cases, one of the parents should initiate a call or email to Lina Smith, our Business Manager, to discuss the possibility of making special payment arrangements. She can be reached at the main school office (540-886-9109). A written payment plan also needs to be submitted to the Business Manager..
In the event that a family fails to pay their account and also fails to initiate contact with the Business Manager to make special payment arrangements, or if the family fails to follow through with their special payment arrangement plan, the school reserves the right to discontinue the family's enrollment at GCS. Grace Christian School student records and diplomas will be held until accounts are current and/or paid in full.
In addition, all accounts must be paid in full prior to the beginning of each new school year in order for enrollment to continue.
Please feel free to contact the Business manager or Headmaster with any questions you may have. It is the goal of the school to accommodate our GCS families in a responsible and gracious manner concerning all finance-related issues.
