Art and Advanced Art: In beginning art, students learn the fundamentals of composition, perspective, and use of colors and shading as they incorporate different art mediums such as oil pastel, watercolor, charcoal, and 3-dimensional sculpture. In advanced art, students improve upon the techniques and use of art mediums that were acquired in beginning art in addition to exploring printmaking, calligraphy, and painting on canvas. Through field trips to museums, the students learn and experience art history and appreciation. We also offer an arts and crafts elective.
