Grace Christian High School offers students in ninth through twelfth grade an excellent academic education taught from a Christian worldview perspective. Students are stretched to think critically and develop analytical skills as they prepare for college and vocational pursuits.
In addition to regular high school courses, Grace offers honors, Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment classes in a variety of subjects, (see High School Program.) A hallmark of our Christian education is the privilege for each student to participate in weekly chapel services, which include skits, testimonies, student-led worship, and gifted local and international speakers. A variety of elective classes and fine arts opportunities are available, as well as the option to take private music lessons in voice, guitar, piano, strings, brass and wind instruments during the school day.
Knowing that proficiency in computer skills is essential for navigating today's culture, GCS has set its computer technology program as a high priority. The high school teachers integrate technology into the classrooms via SmartBoards, projects and research. A computer lab is available for student use.
Extracurricular opportunities are an important aspect of a student's high school career. Grace has a history of a strong Athletics program and a vibrant Fine Arts program.
