Grace Christian School

coram Deo

In 2015, Grace Christian School adopted the motto, "coram Deo", which is the Latin term meaning “before the face of God.”

GCS has worked diligently over the years to refine our emphasis on Christian worldview integration in all aspects of our educational program.  Our desire is to teach our students to live their lives "coram Deo"; in the presence of God, under the authority of God, and to the glory of God.

In 2015, we became a pilot school for Dr. Christian Overman's "Worklife Restoration Advancement Program" (WRAP). WRAP emphasizes the Biblical concept that all areas of work, whether as an accountant, homemaker, plumber, student, or pastor, are equally precious in God’s eyes in terms of them doing their work “as unto the Lord” out of a sense of His calling. It also provides tools to help our teacher's integrate worldview into their daily lesson plans.

One our alumni parents, Marc Kinder, composed a song “coram Deo.” To check it out, click on the link below.
