We believe Christian education is mandated in the words of Jesus to His followers: "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age " (Matt 28:18-20). Inherent in these words is the command to educate as an essential aspect of making disciples. This certainly must include our children and youth. The linked paper entitled “The Great Commission and Christian Education” is the most comprehensive statement on this website concerning our convictions about Christian education. The other links provide a variety of additional perspectives and resources that will be informative to the reader.
