Grace Christian School High School Science Teacher (FT) Position Description

Grace Christian School (GCS) is seeking passionate and resourceful full-time and/or part-time science teachers for our Physical Science (9th), Chemistry (11th), Environmental Science (12th), and Physics (12th) classes within our high school. Successful candidates will have the ability to guide students into obtaining a Biblical worldview of their being created in the image of God and thus having inherent rational, logical, inquisitive, and manipulative capacities even as they develop their scientific knowledge, skills, and talents.

Fundamental Qualifications:

  1. Be a professing Christian who is active in a local church,
  2. Obtained a bachelor's degree in an associated field or be an individual with requisite work experience,
  3. Possess strong communication (written and verbal), people, organizational, and technological skills.

Grace Christian School (GCS) is seeking a passionate and resourceful part-time Bible teacher for our freshmen Bible course. Successful candidates will have the ability to inspire & guide students into developing a Biblical worldview of their being created, redeemed, and sustained by God within a world that is increasingly hostile to His precepts and plan. Additionally, he/she will be able to prayerfully shepherd individual students towards becoming mature, able, and responsible Christians who are wholly surrendered to Him.

School Language Arts Teacher (FT) Position Description

Additional core or elective classes will be added to augment the teaching schedule based upon the candidate's education, expertise, and experience. Part time position running the school library. Organizational and technological skills required. Undergraduate degree and librarian experience preferable.
